What we require from you

You are interested in mechanics and technical contexts. You have manual skills, good imagination and are an open team player. At school, you excel in mathematics and physics.

We also expect a healthy curiosity, a precise and clean way of working, pleasant manners and the will to see something through from start to finish.


Education at SERTO

As a polymechanic/production mechanic, you will learn the basic skills of metalworking. You will program and process mechanical components on modern processing machines and carry out final inspections of precision workpieces. Your tasks will also include programming and manufacturing tubes on complex bending machines and the final assembly of components.

Vocational school

Your apprenticeship lasts 4 years as a polymechanic and 3 years as a production mechanic.

The days at vocational school are distributed as follows:

    1st year of apprenticeship: 2 school days

    2nd year of apprenticeship: 2 school days

    3rd year of apprenticeship: 1 school day

    4th year of apprenticeship: 1 school day (only polymechanics)


You will also attend 7 industry courses (inter-company courses) of 5 days each, so you will complete a total of 35 training days.
