New management team at SERTO Group:
generational change and fresh momentum

SERTO Group is moving into the future with a new leadership team. The Swiss SME, which specialises in tube and connection technology, is headquartered in Switzerland and has sites in Europe and Asia. With the appointment of a young and dynamic management team from 1 January 2025, the company is focusing on innovation and sustainable growth. This move also marks a strategic generational change at the helm of the company, one that has been carefully planned with intuition and foresight.

Charting a new course – with strong connections
New CEO Norbert Kern, who previously served as SERTO’s COO, explains: “Our strength lies in combining excellent product quality, high availability and maximum flexibility in the production and development of customised systems.” I look forward to taking the next steps towards providing innovative services and expanding globally with our team. We have the best conditions and outstanding employees around the world to achieve our goals together.”

A new CSO (Chief Sales Officer) and CIO (Chief Information Officer) will also join the CEO on the leadership team, which previously consisted of three people. Together with the CFO and COO, their mission is to pave the way for further international growth.

Statements from the new management
Sabrina Eichmann, the new CFO, says: “With an eye firmly on the figures, my goal is to further strengthen SERTO’s financial foundations and strategically channel investments into future-oriented projects.”

On the operations side, COO Frederik Hombach emphasises: “Efficiency and quality will remain at the heart of our production activities. We will regularly update our production facilities and make our processes even more flexible to meet the needs of our customers worldwide.”

Patric Keller, CSO, will be responsible for the sales strategy: “We will continue to expand our market presence in the existing European markets, establish new sales activities in Eastern Europe, and step up our efforts in India and China. At the same time, we will focus even more on meeting the individual needs of our customers.”

CIO Marc Veraguth is responsible for digital transformation: “Digitalisation is the backbone of any modern company. The introduction of SAP S/4HANA will be our top priority. We will continue developing our IT infrastructure to optimise processes and provide our employees and customers with the best possible digital experience.”

Strategic support from the Board of Directors
Co-owners Kurt Bolliger and Andreas Mühlthaler stepped back from operational management duties at the end of December 2024 but will remain with SERTO as members of the Board of Directors. Under their leadership, the company has enjoyed remarkable success since the management buyout in 2007. They will continue to strategically guide the company’s development in their new roles.

This restructuring not only marks a generational transition but also signals SERTO’s intention to focus firmly on the future. The company aims to set new industry standards as a modern and competitive player and continue on its growth trajectory.
